Custom Online 3D Printing Service for Prototypes and Parts

Our 3D Printing and Mold Replication Technologies

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)

Extrudes heated thermoplastics layer by layer. Affordable, easy to use, with ±0.1–0.5mm accuracy. Supports PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, etc.

DLP (Digital Light Processing)

Uses a digital micromirror device (DMD) to project a full-layer image for curing. High resolution and surface quality, faster than SLA.

SLS (Selective Laser Sintering)

Laser-sinters nylon powder. No supports needed. Great for complex shapes. Rough finish; post-processing required.

SLM (Selective Laser Melting)

Uses high-energy laser to fully melt metal powder, forming dense, high-strength parts. Ideal for stainless steel, titanium, aluminum alloys, and more.

SLA (Stereolithography)

UV light cures resin layer by layer with high precision (±0.025–0.1mm) and smooth finish. Limited to photosensitive resins.

FGF (Fused Granulate Fabrication,or FFF)

Similar to FDM, it extrudes thermoplastic granules layer by layer to form parts. Cost-effective and suitable for large-scale prints.

Mold Replication

The mold replication process leverages the reusability of molds to produce 5 to 200 units of parts at low cost, ideal for small-batch manufacturing.

Surface Finishing for 3D Printed and Replica-Molded Parts

Post-processing improves surface smoothness, color, and durability. Ideal for visible or functional
parts; not essential for rough prototypes or internal components.

Chemical Vapor Polishing

Ideal for SLA/DLP printed parts. The parts are sealed in a chamber with heated acetone vapor, which evenly smooths the surface through chemical etching. This automated process reduces manual labor and delivers consistent results.

Sanding & Polishing

Applicable to FDM/FFF, SLS nylon, and metal parts. Gradual sanding (80–400+ grit) offers simple, cost-effective finishing for complex geometries, but may cause scratches and is less suitable for transparent materials.

Painting/ Electroplating

Applicable to all printed parts. Primer and coating or electroplating (nickel, chrome) enhance surface finish, conceal defects, and provide additional features like waterproofing and conductivity.

Sandblasting

Used for metal and high-strength plastic parts. The surface is treated with steel or ceramic beads to create a uniform matte texture. It improves coating adhesion, removes fingerprints, and enhances overall appearance.

Dyeing / Coloring

Suitable for absorbent materials like nylon and TPU. Color is applied via dye immersion or airbrushing. This method allows for custom color finishes, hides layer lines, and improves visual consistency.

Milling / Turning

Ideal for metal and rigid plastic parts (e.g., nylon, PC). CNC or manual machining is used to cut and smooth surfaces with high precision. It offers excellent surface quality and efficiency.

Linda G.

We compared the same printed model with several local European printing services, and PCBasic clearly delivered better detail—clean edges, sharp textures, and a more reasonable price. That’s why we chose them as our partner.

Frequently Asked Questions

What file formats should I upload to start printing?-
We support common 3D file formats such as STL, STEP, IGES, and OBJ. For best results, we recommend using STEP or STL files to preserve model accuracy and structural details.

What is the printing accuracy? Is it suitable for assembly parts?

+
Our printers offer tolerances from ±0.1 mm to ±0.3 mm, suitable for most assemblies and functional tests. For critical dimensions, please leave a note when placing your order.

How long does it take to receive the finished parts after ordering?

+
Typical lead time is 1–3 working days depending on the material, size, and order quantity. Expedited service is available — parts can be shipped in as fast as 24 hours.

Can you print colored or transparent parts?

+
Yes. We support a variety of colored and transparent materials, including clear resin, colored PLA, and dyed nylon. Custom color options are also available upon request.

Do you offer post-processing services like polishing or painting?

+
Absolutely. We offer a full range of post-processing services, including:

• Polishing

• Painting / Coloring

• Sandblasting

• Electroplating

• UV Curing

These enhance both the appearance and structural performance of your parts.
