5. How can I track my order and production status?

• Logistics status via integration with courier APIs (DHL, FedEx, etc.)

6. Can I cancel my order if there’s a delay caused by PCBasic?

We maintain a 99% on-time delivery rate, but if we ever fail to meet your agreed schedule, you may:

7. How does PCBasic protect my privacy?

We strictly protect all customer data under our confidentiality and data protection policy. Your designs, Gerber files, and personal details will never be shared or disclosed to any third party.

8. What is ITAR, and does PCBasic comply with it?

9. How can I get a quotation?

10. When does production time start?

The turnaround time begins once your files (Gerber, BOM, pick-and-place, etc.) are reviewed and approved by both sides. After approval, your boards enter fabrication immediately — no delay, no downtime.

11. Are your PCBs RoHS compliant?

Yes. All PCBasic products are RoHS-compliant by default. We also provide leaded (non-RoHS) options upon customer request.

12. Why is PCB panelization important?

Panelization improves assembly efficiency and precision, especially for:

• Boards smaller than 50 × 100 mm

• Non-rectangular or circular boards

You can design panels yourself or let PCBasic handle it — we’ll send the panel drawing for your approval before production.

13. Why are breakaway rails (breakaway tabs) required?

Breakaway rails are needed when:

• The edge clearance between copper and the board outline is less than 3.5 mm, or

• Boards require panelization for SMT assembly.

They ensure smooth, safe handling during automatic pick-and-place and reflow processes.

14. Can PCBasic change my shipping method?

Yes — if it allows your package to arrive faster or more reliably. We always choose the best and speediest shipping solution to improve your delivery experience.

15. What if the courier (DHL, FedEx, etc.) fails to deliver on time?

Although such cases are rare, if a courier delay occurs:

• Please contact the courier for updated tracking.

• Meanwhile, PCBasic will also assist with tracing and claim follow-ups.

In exceptional cases, we may remake and reship your order if necessary.

16. Who is responsible for customs duty in my country?

As all PCBs and PCBA products are shipped from Shenzhen, China, local customs policies vary. Any import taxes or duties imposed by your country will be the customer’s responsibility. In many regions, such duties are exempted or minimal for electronic samples.

17. What are PCBasic’s manufacturing capabilities?

PCBasic can handle a wide range of PCB and PCBA production — from simple prototypes to complex multi-layer boards and turnkey assembly.
