Your PCB design does not meet PCBasic’s V-Cut manufacturing requirements for quick-turn production. The issue may be caused by one or more of the following factors:
1. The board size is smaller than 60 × 45 mm (or 60 × 60 mm if V-Cut is applied in both X and Y directions).
2. The V-Cut lines are not straight or do not pass through the entire board.
3. The distance between the V-Cut line and nearby copper traces is less than 0.4 mm, which can damage the copper during cutting.
4. The board thickness is below 0.6 mm, which is not suitable for standard V-Cut processing.
1. For V-Cut designs, ensure:
The board dimension along the V-Cut direction is ≥ 60 mm and the perpendicular side (without V-Cut) is ≥ 45 mm.
If V-Cut is applied in both X and Y directions, the overall size should be ≥ 60 × 60 mm.
2. Design V-Cut lines to be straight and continuous, running across the entire panel.
3. Maintain a minimum clearance of 0.4 mm between V-Cut lines and copper traces to protect circuit integrity.
4. Only boards with thickness ≥ 0.6 mm can be processed with V-Cut in standard quick-turn production.
5. If these conditions cannot be met, PCBasic can either ignore/remove the V-Cut lines or transfer the order to our high-precision production line (note: pricing and lead time may differ).
Following these guidelines ensures accurate panel separation, safe copper clearance, and smooth V-Cut processing.
