No Silkscreen Layer Found in Design – Online Option Set to “With Silkscreen”

Reason for Failed Review:

Your submitted Gerber files do not contain any silkscreen layers, but the online order option was set to “With Silkscreen.”

This inconsistency needs to be clarified before production to avoid errors in labeling or processing.

PCBasic Suggestions:

There are usually three possible situations:

1. Silkscreen content is drawn in another layer (such as the solder mask or copper layer).

•  In this case, please note that PCBasic only recognizes silkscreen data from the actual silkscreen layers (e.g., GTO/GBO).

•  Therefore, if no real silkscreen layer exists, please select “No Silkscreen” online.

2. The design should include silkscreen, but it’s missing from your file.

•  Please add the correct silkscreen layer and resubmit your Gerber files for review.

3. The silkscreen is not required for this project.

•  Simply choose “None” for silkscreen in your online order to match the file.
